What is an Idiom?

An Idiom is: 1. any expression peculiar to a language whose meaning cannot be construed simply from the meanings of the words composing it. 2. a language or dialect peculiar to a people or to a specific region. 3. a characteristic style or form of expression especially in the arts.

Our Brief History:

I began the Sunday Idiom in 2008 sometime in early November. The Idiom began as an online blog and radio show whose primary intention was exposing people to new music. The Sunday Idiom was also built upon the foundation of communication because communication is an art-form in and of itself, and possibly the most important aspect of our society. The ability to communicate feelings is in my opinion of one the best ways to solve our problems- its all about character. The reason why the Idiom came to fruition is because listening and experiencing music is my passion; I coupled my passion with my skills in radio broadcasting, computers and writing to create The Sunday Idiom. With new people and ideas and a changing economy the Sunday Idiom is evolving into a design collective with individuals who above all else will live up to their character.
